bored with ribbons? try laces.















using lace inspired by some Japanese site goggling, when i thought "darn, I'm running out of ideas!". but then Google helps me a lot! some click here, some browse there.. and here they are, the cutest lace hair pin ever made and it's on sale. do you think i was clicking spontaneously to "add to cart" button? well, you are wrong. i never buy, i just made them! (well, i buy a little of accessories to enriched my creation :p) but, here's the tips: go ahead, go window shopping to the mall, to a site or wherever but never to buy! just be inspired!

here's "the ribbon rose" it's something that came up when i do the "nyolong inspirasi" (that's my term in Bahasa Indonesia for "steal an inspiration" meaning: "get inspired by something") *ow-yeeaayyy so glad that i understand Japanese!*

a Bunch of Roses

i always love roses, especially the red one... so i shower my creation with those cute little roses (pink and baby blue) on the top there's rose bouquet (made from lace) below there's little peony rose large hair pin and small hair pin and bunch of the little roses.

i have a confession to make. i didn't made all of those li'l roses, too many wasting hours! i just bought them on store. they come in many color in a pack (you'll got a bunch of them in a pack) .

They are not expensive also. so why wasting time doing all the effort, just buy them! and buying didn't stop me from doing all of the creation. you just have to use your creative head.

Peony Rose

the golden roses are made from 1 inch wide gold ribbon and for the peonies, I used the same technique as the little peonies but made from 1 inch wide organdy ribbon.

I recently made this creation with more colors and fabrics. i made the roses with 1 inch wide pattern organdy ribbon so that they'd look like a rose straw in pink, orange, green and blue.

I also made differences on the peonies. in this picture you will only find one layered flower with 5 petals on it. in my new creation, there will be 2 layered flower with each 5 and 4 petals. i also used 1 inch wide organdy ribbon with gold framed on each side. i called the "Layered Peony Rose" (will upload the photos soon)

the new peony rose are available on white, maroon, dark brown, pink, dark magenta, and dark green. (with gold framed or non-framed) with gold, silver, pink, orange, green or blue on top of the peonies.

this creation are available on corsage (or hair accessories - by request) with 2,5 inch in diameter and the orange-brown color is everyone's favorite!

*note: my friends just love this layered peony rose. i recently got order to made a few for an event, and that was a blast!

Star Flower

this creation inspired by my mom who asked me to put some leaves on my other creation. instead of doing those leaves (with leaf green pattern organdy ribbon) i made ten nice colorful leaf-like pieces to be join, i also put 3 colorful plastic pearl onto the center and voila... the star flower.

made from 1 inch wide pattern organdy ribbon, available in pink, leaf green, blue, orange. diameter: 2 inch.

Small Peony

this small flower is my first creation that made from 1/2 inch organdy ribbon. color available in pink, baby blue, pastel violet, light blue, maroon, dark green, black, white, orange, yellow, and dark brown in 1 inch diameter.
